Hi FolksI'm rebuilding this S1C, and was wondering if anyone on the board has heard of it. It was built by the late Dean Case for his daughter Joyce to use for airshows. My understanding is that it was the first Pitts to have 200 hp. I talked with Bud Davisson quite some time ago, and he knew the airplane right off. He mentioned that he put one or two pictures of it in his book on the Pitts Special. Boy !! would I like to find one of those. I have found several pictures of it in old issues of Sport Aviation. Joyce and Black Jack were regulars in the Rockford years along with her other Pitts " Joy's Toy "
I was also wondering if anybody has an email address for Roscoe Morton down in Florida? The logs show that he was at one time an owner. I'm really enjoying this web site. Nice Job !!
Tom
Greetings Tom:I can't help you with your S1C, but perhaps one of the others might be able to.

Thanks for the kind words. It's still a new site (VPC version 1.0 since April this year), and as they say, "a work in progress." We don't have enough paying members/subscribers for the site to pay for itself yet, so your words of encouragement sure go a long way!
Thanks!

Greetings Tom:> Thanks for the reply. I think word of mouth will do this site well.
Thanks! If more folks feel the same, we should be OK.
