I want to thank you for being such a beautiful inspiration for me.I was trained by Hal Goddard 13 years ago in Tucson and we met a few times but I can imagine you dont remember me.
I became a freight captain out of Sky Harbor a few years ago, but have just moved to Europe and been asked to become an airshow pilot here.After flying the freight dog run, I need to rediscover my roots, and must perform. I admire you SO much and only hope that I can fly a fraction of the quality that you are. My Husband was killed in a mid air collision during a formation aerobatics flight 8 years ago, and I am only now coming through it to rejoin my hearts desire, which is to fly like you. I would dearly like your advice, and know that you are a busy and important woman and have little time for such things, but I feel that I must ask this,as I know that you are the best.
I know that Leo L. was your dear friend,I knew him a bit as well and really admired him and I remember his death was very truamatic for you... How did you come through it? How did you get the strength to continue then?
