My name is John-Michael, i'm 18, and from toronto. I first heard about you (patty)in 1997 when i got flight simulator 98, and i flew your plane in it. I watched some videos of your manuevers in the game and was inspired, from that moment on, i decided to devote my life to Aviation. I started flying when i was 16 and i now have 21 hours (getting my private pilots license) and i am soloing, which i enjoy immensely. I am also taking an aircraft maintenance course in Thunder Bay. So i want to be a mechanic and a pilot, and i love both. So thanks for inspiring me to join this profession.

Thank you for your e-mail and your kind words! I'm so glad you've been inspired by Flight Sim. I think Flight Sim is one of the greatest inventions for aviation ever to come around!

I hope you are able to get to a few airshows this year. Unfortunately I won't be flying the Toronto Airshow, but maybe next year. It's a great show nonetheless!
