Hello Patty:#3 on the 2004 Advanced Q is a pull to 45, half snap to inverted, then 5/8 loop with a 1.5 roll, out inverted. I’m nudging to the right on my pull and trying to recover from the half snap with as little rudder as possible, but I’m still coming out of the half snap way off heading (20 degrees). It’s driving me crazy… Flying a 300L, any hints?
Thanx
Steve
Hi SteveHalf snaps are hard to nail, but I would suggest you to not unload the stick too much after breaking into the snap, use NO aileron, and really step on the rudders to make the recovery super clean. The snap needs to be a bit more buried than a full snap to make it look crisp. And, after that it is just doing them over and over again. I still practice them to keep them looking crisp...especially this time of year.
I hope this is helpful.
