"Right Click disabled?"

Don't know if it's intentional but the right click context menu is disabled in the forums. When I'm reading messages, I like to right click back to the message list. It's easier than moving the mouse and clicking the arrow ( IE5 ).Just my two cents worth:-)

Hi Ben - OK, I see it now. It's a little tiny for my old eyes
BTW, is there or will there be a way to quote in a reply?
Thanx,
Vic

Greetings Vic:
What I do now is highlight the text and press Ctl+C, to past I use Shift+Ins.
We don't have the ability to autoquote a reply, but perhaps we can work that in eventually.

I find it slightly easier to use Ctrl + V to paste, because its right next to C key.

Your wish is our command. The message board now has autoquote!

>Ben Just had to try this out . I see that it quotes the whole message. Any possibility of having it auto-quote only the portion that is highlighted - similar to ctr+c/crtl+v exercise without having to punch all those keys?

Seriously, I'm not sure. We'll look into it.

>Ben Thanks!! Note that the auto-quote quotes the "raw" HTML command and not the results of the command

Greetings again, Vic:
I forgot to mention that the Conference and forum names displayed on the message table title bar (upper left corner of the table in messages view) are links as well. They'll do the same things that the mini link versions within and at the end of the page will do.
Hope this helps!
Ben

Ben - Just FYI - I tried three different ways to go back to the topics while reading a message. Clicking the links at the top/bottom of the list and using the ALT-LEFTARROW combo. Using IE5.5 sp2 - the clicks resulted in the page being reloaded, taking several seconds. The key combo was almost instantaneous (probably using cached page).
Obviously the key combo is the way to go.So far so good

Just FYI, you can also use BACKSPACE to do the same thing.

Yep, that's what it's doing.

Great! Thanks for sticking with it. There are many things that aren't going to be the same as CiS here, but it's the people that count, right?
Right now we're still working on functionality (getting everything to working as intended), but once that's done, we'll start on the ergonomics and address the issues such as autoquoting, etc.. It may take a while longer than we'd like, but rest assured we'll get there.
Best!
Ben
