Have tried out the Weather Map site Ben, West US Color enhanced downloaded VG but very "slow". Looked like a huge front from Mexico across to almost New York.. What height would that Satelite be??

Yes, the color maps are big (e.g. slow downloads). The other maps are considerably faster.

I don't know what height that sat's at, but as far as I know they're all pretty much stationed about the same altitude, and the difference in coverage depends on the "lens" selected. If you keep watching these maps over a period of time, you'll notice that they're not always the same.

Hmmm, would there be any chance of getting any other weather maps, such as ones for Europe, and Asia up there?
