Hi All

Just a heads up to say that part of our downloads in the VPC File Download area will be inaccessible while my domain is down for hardware upgrades/DNS Transfer, hopefully this shouldn't be longer than 5 days, and should be a lot faster once the upgrades are complete.

Is there an operational file download facility now? I've got this "Library Search and Download" entry, and a "File Library (VPC TESTING)" entry, in the OLR but nothing's ever happened to either. I assume it was still being worked upon.

Or am I missing something by only ever using the OLR? I rarely (read almost never) go web surfing, which is why I liked the OLR and why I joined! <G>.

Not yet. Hopefully by the end of the week it'll be online. FYI, Sam runs one of our mirror file sites, so that's what he's referring to.

Search and Download is good, but File Library (VPC TESTING) is no longer valid. You can delete that one.

RC1 is almost ready! (One of the new features is you're able to rename Forums). Greenie will email everyone when he's satisfied. :)

The file area that Sam is talking about is different than the main file library that we are still working on. The former has some utilities and VPC specific stuff, while the latter will be the repository for the FSFORUM library and member uploads.
