Greetings!

We've discovered a bug in the current FlyNow! application which prevented Other DirectX games from launching properly (Flights 13-15 in the Flight Terminal). We've corrected the problem and released a new version of FlyNow!

If you've downloaded an installed a version of FlyNow! prior to 04-19-02, we recommend that you download and install this latest version. It will overwrite the old version when installed.

You can either download the latest here:

http://www.flightadventures.com/misc/files/FlyNow!_setup.exe

or simply select No when the "An ActiveX control on this page might be unsafe to interact with other parts of the page. Do you want to allow this interaction?" alert box appears. This will always prompt you to download the most current version of FlyNow!

Yesterday evening (Europe time) I made a first try to get into the Flight Terminal, I always receive the following message""VPC Fly Now! Launcher is not properly installed on your system." I did previously delete the old version.
I did read the FAQ :
"Q: I'm getting a "VPC Fly Now! Launcher is not properly installed on your system." error message. Now what?
A: You need to download and install the VPC Fly Now! application. If it's not installed on your system already, you're running an older version or it's not installed properly, you should be prompted to download the latest version. Download the file and install it to your system.

If for some reason the system doesn't prompt you properly, you can download the latest version of Fly Now! here "

I did download & re-install several time the file but without success.
I wonder if after the download the file is loaded into the correct directory? Where should it be?? When I use the "find file/folder" the lonely found is the .exe needed for the installation.

I run Win 98 SE and IE 6

No hurry, I am on holiday starting May 1st till May 7th included (go to France : Chateaux de la Loire ..there is good food, wine and golf... I hope there is also nice weather)

I have to find the reason and do the clean up after my return from holidays

Did you not receive the registration key for this? As VPC Crew now (I like that bar!) you're entitled to a free OLR registration key. Let me know if you didn't get it.

rbobic has the same setup and the same problem.

The problem is definitely tied to IE6 somehow. If you've already added *.flightadventures.com to your trusted sites, please try enabling all ActiveX and Javascriipt security settings one by one to see if any of those help.
