Two or three times now, I've logged on to find several threads showing the new messages icon, yet I've read all the messages there. Today there were half a dozen threads in the main forum like this, and maybe four here.Am I doing something wrong (clicking mark all before leaving) or is there a problem with the inner workings?

Sounds like you're doing the right things--logon, read new, mark all. I just tried it and it works correctly for me. Anyone else having a problem with this?
Alan, you might try logging out, then logging in again with the "remember me" option enabled. We deleted everyone's session files in an attempt to sort out Robert's mulitple ACARS problem (which turns out to have been a problem on his system rather than ours), so there may be a mismatch with your cookie now. Please let us know if it fixes things.

Hi Ben,>Alan, you might try logging out, then logging in again
>with the "remember me" option enabled.OK I'll give that a try. Do I need to keep cookies on my system for this to work? I usually delete them pretty quickly as my HD is absolutely tiny.

Awaiting this with great anticipation, any idea when we can get our hands on it?
BTW I just previewed this message, and lost the whole thing. What is the procedure to return to edit it after previewing?

Greetings Alan:> OK I'll give that a try. Do I need to keep cookies on my system for this

> tiny.Yes. You do need to keep them/it. Without the cookie there's no way for the system to tell who you are for the autologin to work. As for the size, we only issue a single cookie and update it as required (e.g. we don't populate your HD with tons of files). Furthermore, the cookie is only about 300 bytes in size (less than 1k).

Hi Ben,Thanks for the pointers - only problem now is that I forgot to mark the read messages on my last visit.
