It sounds like you're arriving to the message board from a bookmark rather than from the main VPC page. We've tied the link in question to the main VPC page (e.g. you can't login to the Lobby without having the main VPC page open) to eliminate multiple logins.

Hi Ben,

I think I have the problem mentioned <s>. Once logged in on the main page select Flight Rooms, it starts up but pops up an error on page. Select a flight room though and another error box pops up.

" Command execution of Fly_Now! has been disallowed by your browser's security level settings. Please add www.FlightAdventures.com to your Trusted Site list."

Now go to the relevant tab in your browser and add the link "www.FlightAdventures.com" on klicking OK a dialog box pops up stating you have to place "https:/"; to the URL.

Can't remember what happens then but you still can't log into a flight room.

Regards,

James.

Just looked at the error box again and looked into the details section and it reports,

Line 104
Char 32
Error Object doesn't support this property or method
Code 0
URL http://www.flightadventures.com/flight_main.shtml

You can add non-HTTPS URLs to MSIE's Trusted Sites list by unticking the box "Require server verification for all sites in this zone" which is found on the Trusted Sites list window.

Good morning,
I tried the "updated" link found this morning.
In the new window after input my name and password I receive a green colour message at the bottom of the black box following message "Connecting to servers".
I waited several minutes without receiving a response

Later I did try with "guest" as suggested and I had the same result "Connecting to servers..." but never an answer
Have a nice day

Anyone else have a problem?

Did it ever work for you before (e.g. using the older link and entering from the main VPC page?). Does anything else here at the VPC not work? Does it work from your home computer?

The only thing I can think of is your office computer is blocking the port we use to access the VPC Flight Server (port 6112).

I tryed from home, it works except that my login is rejected only the "Guest" login is accepted.
I think you are right at the office the Firewall must block the port, I will check with some System Engineer tomorrow.
Thanks Ben

That's normal (at least for now). The Flight Server database is not linked to the main VPC database yet. You'll need to use the FlyNow! client to create an account first (we recommend that you use your same nick and password to simplify things). Once your account has been created, you'll be able to use your nick and password to enter the Flight Server Lobby.

Greetings Emile:

Thanks for the update. You'll have to get the network admin to open up the port or you'll have to join multiplayer flights via IP while you're at work! ;)
