Suggested Navex Rules for discussion.

Objective is to arrive at fixes at times stated.
Timed from Take Off or "Set Course" position.
Times at fixes set by author, within capabilities of the aircraft selected.
ETA,s at fixes allowed + or - 1. minute (5 points) decreasing by 1 point for every minute outside of 2 minute window.
Pilot choice in achieving ETA (ie. fast /slow/ dogleg etc)
Fixed Altitude (2500' ??)
I feel the best method of time check at fixes is to use the Max. View window (no panel) and when the target, centre screen, disappears below log the time. The wing tip method is awkard in FS9.
Pilots notified of area and fixes well before hand.
I,ll post a suggested navex for the KSBP area shortly.
