Near KORF
G,day Robert,
Sounds like a good one to me. Look forward to it after missing the 15th.
I had a look at KTVL and bearing in mind the delays we seem to have on take off.. suggestions only.
1. Runway 36 has enough room before the TODA (piano keys) to allow us to all line up for T/O, should be interesting us all going to full throttle at the same time, on flight leader,s GO, or Full Ahead Both, or whatever.
2. Sort out order of flight whilst taxiing to rw 36. or even post it in the forum beforehand.
The above of course subject to our friendly ATC, might frown on several P38,s jockeying for position all over his airfield and breaking every rule in the book by doing so.
By the by I was reading CAR 163AA (Formation Flying)
For the purpose of this regulation, two or more aircraft are flown in formation if:
A. they are flown in close proximity to each other; and
B. they operate as a single aircraft with regard to navigation, position reporting and control.
I just love it, sit back and enjoy the ride and let Vic/Robert do all the work
See you all Lake Tahoe,
Andy
