Ok i bought this Sim cause im interested in airplanes and i wanted to see what microsoft had in store

well im impresed with everything except the crashing

Because when you crash the game just stops i dont get it WHY is there a option to turn crashing on or sumtin

Not sure what you mean here - the AIRPLANE crashing or FS2004 crashing? IF you mean the airplane - just change the realism settings to ignore crash.

Greetings nightfox:

I'm not sure what you were originally asking here. Is it why don't the airplanes break up into pieces and catch on fire fire etc when they crash? I think the reason is the concept of Flight Simulator follows the wonders of flight more than the pursuit of the ultimate in all aspects of realism. After 9/11 and all of the people that started pointing fingers at Flight Simulator for purportedly help train the terrorists, I think MS rightfully avoids providing more "fuel for the fire" so to speak by sticking with flight. My $0.02.

On avsim.com you can find an addon called "crashbak 2004", file name "crashbak.zip"
