This flight will take place on Sunday 9th February 2003 arriving at the destination airport for 20:00 ZULU/UTC and then into the Pilot Lounge for the usual chat and the virtual burger and beer afterwards.

This is Flight Simulator 2002's Highest Airport and that's official (with the good help of my buddy John Mooney). Peru has probably got a lot of fascination with a lot of folk in relation to the Inca's and the Amazon. Also a location where ancient stone temples loom magnificently into the thin air of the Andes; where cathedrals of the Conquistadors stand atop former gardens of gold; and where the vibrant colours of the Quechue culture reflect the sun that shone upon their Inca ancestors for hundreds of years.

I've done a few search's for add on scenery for both FS2000/2 but haven't come up with any.

Navigation Charts etc may come in handy <s> but this will be a Visual landing <g> as it's a Dirt Field.

Please join us on Sunday, 9th February 2003 for the #13 VPC Flight Rally, and make sure to visit the Pilots Lounge after your flight to let us know all about it!

Please read http://www.flightadventures.com/docs/rally.htm and http://www.flightadventures.com/docs/VPCFTI.htm for detailed information on both VPC Flight Rallies and Flight Terminal Information. If you require further assistance or information then please don't hesitate to ask.

**** Remember folks, fly safe and have an enjoyable flight. ****

Hello Ben,
I did use the option above
"clic here to upload your file" and did not have any problem.
I'll send the file this evening from home (I am at the office it's 7h45 local time).
By the way concerning the weather addon, I use ActiveSky in conjunction with the http://fsw.simflight.com/FSkySe.html
it generates some nice storms , winds and lightning... this are the conditions I found during my trip .
I did notice a difference in wind speed in FS (26knts) and FSNav (48knts)and this generates quite a drif , but why this difference and who is right? I do not know yet.

One of these day I'll have to buy CFS and join your "cat & mouse" , CSF 3??
Have a nice day
Regards
Emile

I'll be on the lookout for the file. Otherwise, please feel free to email it to me.

I'm not familiar with the program, so I don't know what would cause the discrepancy. However, a 22 knot difference is not trivial.

We fly CFS1 (which is still the best for what we do). We'd love to have you fly with us. (More targets!) :)

Best!
