"COMMS Types Help Please"

Hi ALL,

Whilst using AFCAD I've noticed several different types of COMMS listed, including these:

UNICOM
FSS
AWOS
ASOS
ATF

Can anyone tell me what they are, and what they do? There is no information in the AFCAD Help file, nor in FS2002

Many thanks for this most useful link. I've been asking all over the place for this info for months, and you are the first person to reply.
The link has 11 pages of definitions of aviation terms, and I recommend it to all flightsimmers.
