Hello all -

This is a new one on me. *MY* half of the ATC conversation is missing. When I contact tower, etc I hear nothing but the reply.

System is:
Athlon 1.4
A7M266 mobo 512 DDR
OnBoard CM Audio
GeForce4 TI4600/128M
Detonator 3140
XP Pro SP1

I don't have the *usual* problems associated with SP1 - menu's and FSNAV are fine, just this one issue. I *assume* it's SP1 related because, although I don't use the XP system much, it's something I would have noticed.

I may have missed it but I haven't seen anyone comment on this issue before. Thought I'd run it by here before I start useless tweaking on a wild goose chase.

Anyone seen this before? Any fix?

I assume you've check the sound settings and sliders. Have you tried the ATC dialogue to make sure that Pilot Voice is checked? If so, have you tried another voice set?

That's really strange. I NEVER change anything in that area but when I went in to check, Pilot Voice was CHECKED but there was no pilot voice selected.

Oh well.

Well I lost mine a long time ago so when I find out what's next I'll let you know :-)

One thing I do know it ain't your sex drive for you can ask John M's wife on that one as I know John hasn't got one as I keep popin over to see her <LOL>.
