I'm still lost (not hard to do). Where are those keys in the registry
(path). I guess I should just search for those keys replacing the
numbers to match my current resolution?

Let's try this ONE MORE TIME!!!

here is the key and the subkeys -


HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\VIDEO\{C49B271F-A97F-4621-9A84-F91C2C1B4EA6}\0000

"DefaultSettings.XResolution"=dword:00000400
"DefaultSettings.YResolution"=dword:00000300


Look for the MAIN key HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG......

and change the default settings.

Now THAT'S wierd! Twice now I've pasted the entire key in the message and twice it has NOT show up. Haven't the faintest idea why. Sorry - when I get home I'll try posting it differently and also emailing it to you. Possibly a sequence that is an HTML escape code or something.

DCForum's attempt to make it easy for those not familiar with HTML automatically converts many HTML tags. Your best bet is to try previewing your message online and replacing the converted tags with text descriptions such as "*=open square bracket"
