"MS BGLs"

I am working with Kansas City, MO downtown scenery and have a problem. The MS city database file for KC badly misplaces Kemper Arena where Bartle Hall should be. Both are distinctive buildings. I don't want to just delete the errant BGL file because it also displays the Royals and Chiefs stadiums to the east. Is there a utility that one can selectively modify such BGL files? Thanks.

Happy landings,

I am definitely not a scenery designer, and I have noticed such questions normally get "no" for an answer, but there was a discussion here about moving some airport objects which may help:

Mike,

Somebody might have a better solution, but here's imperfect one. You could make a scenery file BGL for KC with an exclude for Kemper Arena. I have made excludes that remove very small areas; in one case the MS default localizer antenna array without disturbing the adjacent LOC equipment shelter.

It takes a bit of cut and try to get the exclude right where you want it and as small as possible. The problem with this of course is that the Arena would be gone. To get it back you'd have to make your own and plant it where it should be located.

Since the offending object is in a bgl, the exclude file I created has no effect.
