Suggestion (if in order) re. Rally.
Aircraft Cessna Amphibian
Depart San Lious KSBP for Santa Ynez KIZA (and Lake)
Via Oceano L52 and Santa Maria KSMX (touch & Go ?? )Load up the trusty old GPS,s:-
KSBP-> L52-> KSMX-> KIZA.
Direct KSBP-> KIZA.... MQO Vor R120 X 52nm.
At KIZA Lake Santa Ynez is visible 8nm on.
Lake Ynez El. 711
Ramp El. 715 070/250 Western end of Lake.
Approaching the ramp I dropped the wheels, raised the rudders at last moment and she went up onto the ramp satisfactorily.
Notes:-
Steep drop down on approach to water altitude, had to circle round the E end of Lake. surrounded by approx 3,550 high terrain.
Considerable number of watercraft (Now one less )
The ramp ( I assume it is for amphibians, not trailer yachts) has ample parking , both on the ramp and ways either side, but watch out for overhanging trees.
Submitted merely as suggestion.

AndyC
>>If anyone is interested, I'd be happy to take people around a aerial VFR tour of the Central Coast sites at the end of the Rally. Of course one would need to install the CCCoast scenery to see to sites. <<Damn! I'll take a rain check on that. I'm gonna miss the rally due to some true VFR skiing conditions (according to the current wx) at Lake Tahoe. I'll be checking in though, and if I only ski a 1/2 day on Sunday, may make the con (from the hotel).
To everyone flying in from the east...when fly over a VERY big body of water, you went too far, turn around .
For what it's worth, my Baron is parked at KSBP...I flew in a couple of days ago. Have fun!! (tm - Gunner)
