I've recently read reports that the navy has canceled some appearances so the pilots and support crew can go back to Florida and return their homes and HQ to order. DHamblin Certificates/Ratings/Crew Stations: 2. "RE: Salinas!" 09-22-04, 11:29z  Oceana and Nantucket Island are the only two confirmed cancels so far; but depending on events others could be. My uncle lives in Pensacola (retired navy), he says its a mess. I understand the Blue's maintenance hangar roof collapsed. That doesn't sound promising. They're holding a tribute to a the founder of the Blue Angels, Butch Voris, so I'm told that they "almost have to show up no matter what." Whew! See you there! "RE: Salinas!" 09-26-04, 14:52z  Ben, I've heard through airshow rumours that the Blues are going to cancel Salinas - but it should be a good show even without them.
