Ben_Chiu Certificates/Ratings/Crew Stations: "Flight Terminal Flight 15 warning" 07-16-02, 04:52z  Greetings: Just a heads up to let everyone know what Flight 15 is being used to test a new ActiveX-based VPC Launcher. The benefits of this new technology will be smaller program size, automatic download, automatic install, automatic updates, lower susceptibility to bad browser configuration/installs, and better integration to the VPC system. We've made a couple of last minute changes, but you're welcome to try out Flight 15 at any time. It should work properly, but of course let us know if you encounter any problems. Please note that this new version of Fly Now! is an ActiveX control, so it'll take a couple of minutes to download the first time you launch it and anytime we update the application. Also note that if any warning boxes appear, you need to click Yes. A new feature we added to this new version is Fly Now! will now automatically shut down when you exit the Flight. Just for everyone's information, we're currently working on the next generation of ACARS, but once that's up and running, we'll come back to the Flight Terminal and eliminate all of the refreshing that goes on and simplify the process some more. Unless we find someone has a problem in the next few days, we'll move the rest of the Flights to the new launcher. Were you in Host mode or Join mode (It'll say Host or Joining session). You might see that type of error if you're the only one in the Flight, but trying to Join a session. Please note what Fly Now! mode is indicated if it happens again. > I went to Flight 1 Did Flight 1 work for you? Thanks!
