RobertVA Certificates/Ratings/Crew Stations: "Multiplayer "Double Feature"!" 02-18-06, 19:37z  Next logical flight in or tour across Europe is Marina Di Campo (LIBP) to Sestri (LIMJ). The route is 123 nm and at least 3/4 of that distance is over water although, depending on the weather, the Italian coast may be visible to starboard. Following that, the next logical stop would be Aix-Les-Bains (LFLB). As the airport code suggests, we will be crossing an international boundry. Hey!! French-Italian border?! Snow Covered Alps! Could it be?! YES!!! We just have to fly that leg THIS WEEK! So we will have an optional early flight at 0200z from Marina di Campo to Sestri. Sestri to Aix-Les-Bains with the Baron would be a little long for our normal schedule at 181 nm over high mountains. Turboprop engines and a pressurized cabin would come in real handy over the Alps.
