PL965Melo Certificates/Ratings/Crew Stations: "DC-3 Pictures" 09-21-03, 00:43z  Hi Guys, Here are some DC-3 pictures. While Kit Spackman was here in the states visiting, we found this "Spirit of Seventy Six" DC-3 at the Western Museum of Flight in Hawthorne, CA. Normally the plane was closed up, but we just happened to arrive in the afternoon shortly after a tour group so we were permitted to board the plane. The interoir was quite fancy for those days as the next pictures show. Never saw a lamp like this inside an aircraft, before or since. Kit Spackman is standing at the back of the photo looking out the door. And the final picture is of the most appealing place to travel in the aircraft.
