Ben Chiu Certificates/Ratings/Crew Stations: "VPC Lobby added to message board" 05-02-01, 18:49z  ____________________ Greetings! In our quest for Java clients, it occurred to me that we could use a Lobby here on the message board so members can chat with other members when they're at the VPC. If you look closely, we've renamed the "Check who's online" link to now read "View last visitors," and added a "Check the VPC Lobby" link. If you click this link, it'll bring you to the VPC lobby. When you visit the VPC, be sure to log on to the VPC Lobby so other members online at the same time can chat with you. Let us know how you like this features. Best! "RE: VPC Lobby added to message board" 05-06-01, 13:33z  ____________________ Actually I see the lack of ability to log on via WebChat is a positive one--only those who know the back door can be moderators. (A security measure.) Nevertheless, the peer-to-peer clients we're considering have java clients built in, so this WebChat thing may just go away or be left solely as an alternative to MSChat for our scheduled chats.
