Well, enroute altitude(s) as you know depend on your magnetic direction of flight, terrain, and airspace. Regarding airspace, since you guys know the controller personally, I wouldn't worry about airspace clearances.
Weather, of course, may be a factor, but we won't know what that is until the flight (however, if you login to the PWF at the same time of the proposed flight on any other day, you'll get a glimpse of what the weather will be like on the day of your flight).
