Glad to you hear you're making a recovery. The flu this year seems to be particularly nasty.

We were leap frogging each other with longer distances, but in the I think I set the record of just about 1 nautical mile. It turns out the fuel quantity in the flight that MS uses is only about 85% full. So after adjusting fuel to 100% and learning to keep very low (under 15' altitude--use shift z for a readout), we were flying further than ever.
Looking back at it, instead of flying directly into the headwind, it occurs to me that if you flew on a tangent, you'd be able to cover a longer distance because the headwind wouldn't be causing your groundspeed to be so low. Perhaps one day we'll revisit this Rally to see if we can top our records.
