nightfox Certificates/Ratings/Crew Stations: "Whats up wit the crashes" 08-28-03, 01:49z  Ok i bought this Sim cause im interested in airplanes and i wanted to see what microsoft had in store well im impresed with everything except the crashing Because when you crash the game just stops i dont get it WHY is there a option to turn crashing on or sumtin Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top

Is it why don't the airplanes break up into pieces and catch on fire fire etc when they crash? I think the reason is the concept of Flight Simulator follows the wonders of flight more than the pursuit of the ultimate in all aspects of realism. After 9/11 and all of the people that started pointing fingers at Flight Simulator for purportedly help train the terrorists, I think MS rightfully avoids providing more "fuel for the fire" so to speak by sticking with flight.
