Hi Vic:When you say a "slight framerate increase", how much are you talking about? Less than a frame or something actually noticeable.
I would think that if the textures are significantly smaller than the stock textures, those with video cards with the least onboard RAM would experience the greatest improvement (less texture swapping required). Of course I'd imagine smaller textures would reduce the scenery "popping up" effects as well. I know you're running a state of the art system, so I'd be interested in hearing how these might work for the rest of us running more borderline hardware.
