"Inaccurate Kansas City default scenery"
08-07-02, 01:00z

MS default city scenery for KC badly misplaces some scenery. Kemper Arena which is a distintive piece is placed where Bartle Hall should be in the downtown skyline. Does anyone know of other major errors. I have created a duplicate Kemper properly placed but to get rid of the bad one the "scenerydb" file for KC will need to be deleted or renamed. Royals and Chiefs Stadiums will need to be recreated before this can happen. Any suggestions?

Happy landings,
Mike Eppright

They had the same problem with Columbus, OH too. The Statehouse appears partially-centered, but the river just a couple three blocks to the west does not show up well, nor are the majority of skyscrapers around the Statehouse anywhere near accurate in their placement. In some cases, they off by a couple blocks at least.
