  • Short bio:

    Born and raised in Lovington, New Mexico, Jimmy began his flying career as a toddler perched upon his father's lap. He began flying airshows full-time in his 1940 Waco bi-plane by age 19 and today has been performing at airshows for over 34 years.

    Career highlights/awards:

  • Jimmy introduced the first ever Jet Waco to the world
  • The Bill Barber Award for Showmanship 1989
  • The Clifford W. Henderson Achievement Award 1999
  • The General Aviation News and Flyer "Reader's Choice" Award for favorite overall performer 1990
  • The General Aviation News and Flyer "Reader's Choice" Award for favorite specialty act 1996
