Art of Flying - Way of Zen
Military pilots are taught to practice ofr the 100 million dollar jet with a toilet plunger for a stick and a chair for the ejection seat. Go to an aerobatic meet and you'll see someone like Patty Wagstaff, in a quiet corner, with eyes closed, head moving and arms waving. Looks like t'ai chi on drugs. In real time, she is visualizing, chair flying. If she feels the need after flying the same routine hundreds of times, I think we should not question the value of chair flying.
