ACARS 2.1 is now online.(You'll recognize it from the new red-colored icon.)
Changes include:
- Changed Install error box
- Changed <Reply to> to <Msg to>
- Change logic to compare version numbers to prevent ACARS running
message on area change
- Detect XP
- Integration to VPCOLR 2.1
- Chat menu option reads member location
- Fixed non-crew icon
- Repaired Buddy sound in XP
Just as a reminder, all of the VPC's feature areas now require that you
have ActiveX enabled in your browser to function correctly. The most
efficient way to enable ActiveX without changing your security settings
for all other web sites is to add *.flightadventures.com to your Trusted
Sites list in your browser with the Trusted Site zone set to the Low
level with ActiveX enabled for all ActiveX settings.
* If you are running Internet Explorer you can automatically configure
your browser for VPC operation by using the following utility. Click
http://www.flightadventures.com/misc/VPC_cfg.exe and select Run this
program from its current location, and select "Yes" when the warning
box appears.

* If you are running some other browser or wish to manually make these
configuration changes yourself, we have step-by-step instructions on
how to add *.flightadventures.com to your trusted sites list at the
following link or visit the VPC FAQ's at any time.
