Guido_Ostkamp Certificates/Ratings/Crew Stations: "Happy Whitsun!" 06-08-03, 12:00z  Hi all, I would like to wish you all a "Happy Whitsun" or as we say in Germany "Frohe Pfingsten!". On Monday we have a (religious) public holiday here. Does this also apply to the United States? I have heard of Pentacost before but I was previously unaware that it's also known as Whitsun and I didn't realise this day is a public holiday in much of continental Europe. -Stephen. Thus it is a good question whether it will be present in South America, as they speak Spanish or Portuguese language there and AFAIK both were very Catholic countries at that time.
