I have attached a USB numpad to the side of my CH Pro yoke and I have assigned my most-frequently-needed flying key commands to it. It works well and as expected for all the default MSFS2002 aircraft and several add-on aircraft from other sources. But, annoyingly, some other installed add-on aircraft (e.g. the Just Flight BBMFlight a/c) take over my chosen numpad key assignments and introduce their own. I was under the mistaken impression that customised key assignments were uniquely registered in the FS2002.CFG file. Can anyone explain to me the mechanism by which some add-on aircraft can temporarily modify my own key assignments and how I can re-gain my preferred ones while flying them, svp?
